Six facilities possess the same advanced equipment.

KOEI TOOL has equipment suitable for mold manufacturing, including injection molding machines up to a class of 350 tons, as well as high-precision metal 3D printers capable of precise fabrication. By coordinating the equipment available at our seven manufacturing bases, we can accommodate projects with large-scale production requirements.

Metal 3D printing

We possess the OPM250L precision metal 3D printer from Sodick. This machine is characterized by its ability to perform laser machining and high-speed milling operations continuously on a single unit. It evenly distributes metal powder and uses laser light to selectively melt and solidify the powder. Subsequently, the rotating tool performs high-speed milling for finishing, enabling us to achieve high-precision processing that is not achievable through layer-by-layer additive manufacturing alone.
